How do I open a Paxos account?

The easiest way to get started with the Paxos Platform is to contact the payments team.

How are Seller onboarding requirements determined?

All onboarding requirements are determined in conjunction with your Paxos Representative. Specific requirements differ, depending on the business type and structure, licenses held, operating jurisdictions, among other factors. Typically:

  • Payment processors without requisite licensure can leverage the streamlined Paxos white-label onboarding process.
  • Payment processors with an appropriate license, for example a BitLicense, can use the Paxos APIs to process stablecoin payments without onboarding Sellers.

Most onboarding procedures include using the Identity and Account APIs to represent an end user on the Paxos Platform.

What assets and blockchains can I use with payments?

By default, all payment workflows support USD and Paxos-issued stablecoins on Ethereum and Solana, including PYUSD and USDP.
